We are a team of architecture and design professionals who specialize in how environments impact human well-being and the health of the planet.
We are specialists of Wellness Architecture. If you’re wondering what that is, think of it this way – today’s world is crazy and fast; people are inundated by an abundance of stimuli on a constant basis. Because of this, we’re becoming more and more disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. At Vera Iconica Architecture we create spaces that provide balance and centering, places of grace among the craze. We work closely with our Partners and Clients to orchestrate environments where people are able to reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. We do this by designing places with strong connections to nature. We create nourishing experiences through the selection of quality, natural materials, the facilitation of our intuitive design process, and the application of understanding of who our clients are.
Rooted in culture and landscape, we are passionate about promoting holistic wellness while designing spaces that develop into the Vera Iconica, or “true likeness”, of the people and places they embody. We have established a consistent framework for production that parallels our intuitive design process to delve into the foundations of who of our clients are, the rhythms of their lifestyles, and how space can be the catalyst to help them live their desired lifestyle. Some have described this process as a contemporary, western feng shui that ignites one’s understanding of how materials and space affect the mind, body, and soul.
Working closely as a team, Vera Iconica Architecture respects the valuable contribution of individual perspectives, and the ideas that are bred out of unique backgrounds and focused expertise. Our emphasis on a collaborative approach involves early design charrettes with stakeholders and design professionals, as well as state of the art 3D visualization tools, such as BIMx and cloud-based servers, to give all members, including both our local and remote, international clients, access to the freshest developments within the project. Vera Iconica Architecture is committed to clear communication and efficient practices to produce design and engineering deliverables that can be executed by master builders and craftsmen to create sacred places of grace that elevate our lives with beauty and delight.
Vera Iconica Architecture is growing and looking for creative and energetic professionals to contribute their talent to our collaborative team. Positions available include Project Manager, BIM Manager, Architect In-Training, and Intern Architect. Cover letters, resume, and portfolio may be emailed to [email protected]
